How to get lucky

Openai's CEO Sam Altman wrote:

Many people have written on the topic of creating luck before. I, too, firmly believe that taking many shots is an excellent way of stirring the pot and making things happen for yourself.

However, taking shots is hard. Putting yourself out there is terrifying. You expose your work (and yourself) to the judgment of others.

But the more you do it, the more courageous or immune to this fear you get. Fortune favors the bold.
